  • Stella & Dot Trunk Show w/ Home at Last Dog Rescue

    • 5:00pm - 8:00pm

After a successful year with Justice Rescue, we wanted to thank all of you who donated your time and energy to supporting a wonderful cause. For 2017, we have decided to partner with Home at Last Dog Rescue. We will kick off March (on the 8th) with a Stella & Dot trunk show event at Gypsy Saloon, where we will be raising money for vet bills. Maxwell - Maxwell came as a stray to Chesterfield Animal Shelter in Chesterfield, SC. He had a huge, open wound on his back and required surgery to fix it. Maxwell got to leave the shelter to head to a foster home and unfortunately started having neurological symptoms including shaking and tremors. We sent him to the vet and the initial bloodwork showed some issues with his thyroid, however the vet believes that he could be suffering from something more serious. Biscuit - Biscuit was saved from ACCT Philadelphia animal shelter on February 6th, 2017. He had a severely embedded collar and needed to be rushed to the vet for critical wound care. Even with his severe neck wound, he is as sweet as can be and wagging all over the place. Gerty - Gertie was attacked by 2 other dogs and is in need of surgery and wound care to save her life. She was up for immediate euthanasia. The rural shelter had her wounds stitched up but she is at high risk of infection. Gertie now needs to get to a surgeon to have her severe wounds debreded , cleaned and revised and closed.
